Ben is a trailblazer in Alabama's pharmacy landscape, combining innovation and patient-centered care to lead the way in a new frontier for pharmacy. As the founder of Torch Wellness, Ben is committed to redefining healthcare by utilizing pharmacists to provide comprehensive patient care to our Medicare population.

Ben is also the owner of Moultrie Family Pharmacies, a network of three pharmacies serving rural communities in Northwest Alabama: Moultrie Pharmacy at Caddo, Moultrie Pharmacy at Langtown, and Trinity Discount Drugs. His dedication to accessible, high-quality care has made him a trusted healthcare provider and advocate for underserved areas.

In addition to his entrepreneurial success, Ben is the only pharmacist in Alabama to be awarded a medical cannabis license, solidifying his role as a forward-thinking leader in the industry. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Samford University's McWhorter School of Pharmacy in Birmingham, Alabama, and continues to build on his strong foundation of expertise and compassion.

Outside his professional endeavors, Ben enjoys traveling the country in his motorhome with his wife and their four boys. His love for adventure and family inspires his passion for improving health outcomes and creating meaningful connections within his community.

Through Torch Wellness and his other ventures, Ben Moultrie is carrying the torch for a transformative approach to pharmacy, ensuring patients receive the care they deserve while advancing healthcare innovation across Alabama.

Holly Crawley

Holly Crawley

Director of Clinical Services · Care Management Pharmacist

Holly is our clinical pharmacist who serves as the primary care manager for our patients. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Auburn's Harrison College of Pharmacy.

Holly furthered her training through a PGY-1 residency in Pharmacotherapy and a PGY-2 residency in Critical Care at Huntsville Hospital. These experiences provided Holly the opportunity to train in several different areas of pharmacy including internal medicine, transitions of care, emergency medicine, multiple facets of intensive care, ambulatory care, and others.

Before joining Torch Wellness, she worked as an Emergency Medicine clinical pharmacist, where she worked as an integral part of an inter-disciplinary team in the busiest Emergency Department in the state of Alabama. In addition to this role, Holly obtained her preceptor certification and continues to serve as a preceptor for both Auburn and Samford pharmacy students.

Holly is board certified in pharmacotherapy and critical care pharmacy, and she has now added to her skillset with comprehensive training on population health and value-based services regulated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Holly's hospital background, combined with her expertise in CMS-regulated services, provides her with a well-rounded perspective on quality patient care and coordination. She is deeply committed to serving her community and supporting the health and well-being of your patients through innovative, patient-centered solutions.

Operations Technology Specialist

Zach joined the Moultrie Family Pharmacy team in 2013, bringing a diverse skill set and a deep commitment to optimizing healthcare technology to enhance patient care. As an Operations Technology Specialist, he is responsible for the seamless implementation, integration, and troubleshooting of the technology systems that support Torch Wellness's mission. His expertise ensures that providers can operate efficiently, allowing them to focus on what matters most, improving patient outcomes.

A proud graduate of the University of Alabama, Zach is dedicated to making a meaningful impact both professionally and personally. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, reading, and exploring the outdoors. His commitment to family and community reflects the same dedication he brings to Torch Wellness, ensuring that healthcare providers have the tools they need to succeed.

With a strong background in both healthcare operations and customer service, Zach understands the critical role that reliable, efficient systems play in delivering high-quality care. His passion for healthcare innovation drives him to continuously refine workflows, streamline processes, and leverage technology to support providers in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered services.

Whitney is an experienced pharmacist with over 13 years of expertise in providing comprehensive medication counseling, dispensing services, and fostering patient safety. Since joining Moultrie Family Pharmacies in 2019, she has excelled in medication therapy management, identifying potential drug interactions, and delivering high-quality patient education. Her commitment to accuracy, safety, and building strong relationships with both healthcare providers and patients sets her apart as a trusted and respected professional in the field.

Whitney earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Samford University's McWhorter School of Pharmacy and is a dually licensed pharmacist in Alabama and Tennessee. As a dedicated preceptor for Samford pharmacy students, she takes pride in mentoring aspiring pharmacists, bridging the gap between classroom education and real-world practice.

In her role as Community Pharmacist Liaison with Torch Wellness, Whitney leverages her extensive knowledge of pharmacy operations, insurance and prior authorization processes, and drug acquisition to serve as a vital resource for patients, providers, and the pharmacy team. Her ability to seamlessly connect these key stakeholders ensures that patient care is optimized and efficient.

Whitney's dedication to her patients, her students, and her colleagues makes her an invaluable asset to the Torch Wellness team, exemplifying a passion for advancing patient care and pharmacy excellence.

Monroe Crawley

Monroe Crawley

Clinical Pharmacist · Strategy & Platform Lead

Monroe is a clinical pharmacist, care-management strategist, and the builder of the Torch Wellness Platform used by the Torch team. His background includes critical care, anticoagulation stewardship, medication safety, and chronic disease optimization, with a focus on building systems that help clinicians identify risk, improve therapy, and support patients beyond a single office visit.

At Torch Wellness, Monroe helps shape both the clinical model and the technology behind pharmacist-led care management. He built the platform the team uses to manage patient workflows, document care, track clinical time, organize tasks, and support billing operations. His goal is to make care management easier to deliver, easier to document, and more valuable for both patients and providers.

Monroe also develops the strategic outlook and goals for Torch's operational expansion. He focuses on how Torch can grow responsibly while preserving the quality of the patient experience, the usefulness of clinical documentation, and the trust practices place in the team. His work connects the clinical, operational, and technology sides of care management into one cohesive model.

Monroe lives in Alabama with his wife, Holly, and their two children. His work with Torch is personal as much as professional. He wants Alabama patients to receive care that feels local, thoughtful, and connected to the clinic they already trust, while giving providers a stronger clinical partner to help extend their reach.

Teresa is a pharmacy technician who is passionate about helping patients take a proactive approach to their health through education, support, and personalized care. With a background in medication reconciliation, transitions of care, and healthcare operations, she understands the important role that communication and collaboration play in achieving better health outcomes.

Throughout her career, Teresa has worked closely with patients, providers, pharmacists, and care teams to ensure individuals have the resources they need to successfully manage their health. She is especially passionate about preventative care and believes that empowering patients with the right information can help reduce barriers to care, improve medication adherence, and support long-term wellness.

At Torch Wellness, Teresa is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care that aligns with value-based healthcare principles. She enjoys partnering with pharmacists and interdisciplinary care teams to identify opportunities for improved health outcomes while helping patients feel confident and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Known for her warm, approachable nature and attention to detail, Teresa strives to build meaningful relationships with patients and create a positive healthcare experience focused on prevention, education, and lasting wellness.

Outside of work, Teresa enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, reading, and volunteering at local comic book conventions.
