Frequently asked

What practices ask before the call.

If you don't see your question here, the call is the better place for it.

Do we have to switch EHRs?

No. Torch reads from your existing EHR (Epic, athena, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Allscripts, Greenway, others) via read-only integration. We document our work back into the chart under your supervising provider.

Who actually bills the claims, you or us?

You do. CCM, RPM, APCM, TCM, and AWV all bill under your practice's TIN, attached to a supervising provider. Torch packages clean, time-stamped, audit-ready claim files and your billing team submits them. You stay in control of the chart and the claim.

How is this different from a CCM call center?

Our entire team are pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, board-certified where it matters, working from one office in the US. Call centers staff with non-clinical agents reading scripts. The clinical value, the audit posture, and the patient experience are not the same.

What does this cost?

Torch works on a flat per-enrolled-patient service fee that scales with program complexity. We don't put pricing in writing until we've looked at your panel and built a real projection with you — the consult is where we walk through the specifics for your practice.

How fast can we start?

Most practices go from contract signed to first billed encounter inside 30 days. The longest variable is your EHR integration; once that's live, the first patient calls follow within a week.

Are you HIPAA compliant?

Yes. A BAA signs in onboarding. We're HITRUST-aligned, encrypt patient data at rest and in transit, and only Torch clinicians on the engaged practice's chart have access. Compliance documentation is shareable on request.

What if my patient doesn't want to be called?

Patients consent verbally on the first call. We document the consent in-chart under your supervising provider, and any patient who declines is removed from the program. We never market to your patients, and we never use them as references without explicit written consent.
